Music in Wisconsin (WI, USA)

If you are around the Ephraim and Fish Creek area this Saturday, September 13th, why not take in the the concert of the Hartland Community Band with conductor Jack Schulze, also trombonist supreme of the 132nd Army Band of Madison.

Jack's Band is doing 3 of my tunes at these concerts, all 3 a bit 'czechy:' "HAIL TO THE BORDER GUARDS (Slava Chodsko)" march salutes the people from the Domazlice area and their role of "border guards" for 700 years +.

Then will be "OUR HOME" which is the Gibraltar Sesquicentennial work, a commission by these nice folks, and lastly will be a polka medley, "HALLMARK" of 5 good Czech tunes. I'll probably will conduct one tune and may sing the "OUR HOME."

The concert in Ephraim
is at 1:00 p.m.--I believe
At the Fine Line Design on the north end of town by the Red Putter

The concert in Fish Creek
