DOUGLAS C. WESELAK

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and Uncle Douglas Clifford Weselak on November 29, 2009.
Douglas was born on January 16, 1935 to Edward and Katherine Weselak in Ladywood, MB.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Gladys, of 50 years, son Timothy (Carol) and daughter Kathy (Teddy), grandchildren Cole, Noah and Brooklyn, his mother Katherine, sister Audrey Letwin, brothers Ernie (Carol) and Leonard (Eleanor), sister-in-law Joyce Weselak and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Edward in 1965 and his brother Edward in 1994. He moved to Vancouver in 1967 with his family and worked for the federal government as a welder/sheet metal instructor until health forced him to retire in 1987.

A memorial service was held on Friday, December 4 at the Chilliwack Alliance Church with interment at the Vedder View Cemetery, Chilliwack.
