I have spent the last few hours going through the guestbooks and contact forms deleting spam. I don't know why these people do it. Well, actually I do. It's all about links to and from websites and getting search rankings with google.

See spammers and phishers want your info. They make fake sites that look like the real think and lead you down the path to financial destruction or worse.

By posting in guestbooks and the like, they are making google and other search engines think they are popular and other sites like them so google should to.

I hate it!

Now, thanks to these crazy spammers, there is nothing left but to look, for those that remain a "guest" to the website.
