About "The CHARM Farm"

Our Mission:

To take in as many animals as we can properly care for, to restore them to health and happiness and where possible find them good new homes, or provide sanctuary for life and educate people on the purpose and uses of domesticated livestock.

Our Objectives and Goals:

To provide temporary and permanent shelter and maintenance for Farm Animals in need of Rescue from bad husbandry1 practices and owner neglect or abuse as well as those that have been abandoned.

To take in as many sick, distressed and unwanted animals as possible and restore them to health and happiness.

The animals are kept on a 10 acre farm where they are given any care, including medical assistance, that is necessary.

To acquire at least 150 more acres of agricultural land that can be used for horse drawn farming demonstrations, feed production and pasture land.

Horses, donkeys, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks and geese can spend their lives at The CHARM Farm.

To find responsible homes for as many of the healthy animals as possible.

No healthy animal is ever destroyed*, and if no home can be found the animal becomes a resident for the rest of its life.

The CHARM Farm relies entirely on voluntary contributions, legacies and money made from fund raising events.
